Licensed Clinical Counselor, Stillwater and St.Paul, Minnesota
I believe in treating the whole person which includes mind, body, and spirit. Their healthy interconnection and interaction are vital for your well being. You and I will assess the strength of your mind-body-spirit connection and work together to make sure it is at its best.
My approaches to therapy are action-oriented so you can learn new skills and try out behaviors directed at improving the quality of your life and your relationships.
I bring my energy, experience, and sensitivity to the therapeutic relationship and in return, I ask you to bring openness, honesty, and a willingness to practice new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving. Our goal is to help you achieve a greater sense of happiness, peace, integrity and satisfaction in your life whether that means improving your relationships or "getting back in the game."
My therapeutic style draws from several major theoretical approaches to psychotherapy including but not limited to CBT, Exposure & Response Prevention, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. I will use the therapy that best serves you in gaining self-understanding, achieving behavioral change and getting control of your life.
